Penrith Panthers legend Royce Simmons has revealed he has been diagnosed as suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Today he launched a fundraising walk from his home town of Gooloogong to Penrith in May. The charity walk will depart Gooloogong on Tuesday 17th May. Simmo will arrive in Penrith ahead of the kick-off in the Panthers game against the Cowboys on Friday 27th May.
